The middle school wrestling season officially begins with the first practice of the year on Monday, January 2nd. Practice will last until 5:00 p.m. Only 7th and 8th graders will be able to participate. 6th graders may still participate in club wrestling at the middle school level. Please see the Avon Wrestling website for more details (www.avonwrestling.org). Wrestlers will need gym clothes, tennis shoes, and wrestling shoes if they have them. In order to practice, all students must have the following on file:

1. CURRENT PHYSICAL EXAM ON THE IHSAA
REQUIRED FORM (dated after May 1, 2011)
2. CONSENT FORM FOR DRUG TESTING
3. $25.00 ATHLETIC FEE (per year; non-refundable)
4. $50.00 PROGRAM FEE (per sport)
4. CODE OF CONDUCT FORM
If a student has participated in any fall sports, then they should have all the proper materials on file. They will still need to pay the $50.00 program fee for wrestling. Keep posted for our upcoming practice and competition schedules, as well as information on our parent meeting.
